Rapper and singer Doja Cat is no stranger to viral fame. In 2018, she became an internet sensation with her joke song "Mooo!", which you may remember as the "Bitch, I'm a Cow" song. Her career's been on the rise ever since, with singles like "Juicy" propelling her to late-night performances and national stardom. With "Say So," a disco jam which follows the footsteps of Daft Punk's "Get Lucky" and apes the guitar riff from Skylar Spence's "Fiona Coyne", she may become one of the biggest forces in pop music, and she's taking her fans with her.

In December last year, TikTok star Hayley Sharpe choreographed and performed a dance to "Say So," gaining hundreds of thousands of likes and starting a viral dance craze on the platform.

Yesterday, Doja Cat released the music video for "Say So" and in the song's final chorus, she performs the dance.

Eagle-eyed viewers can spot Sharpe, dressed in 70s roller rink garb, performing the dance in the video's final scene. This was clearly not lost on social media users, who praised Doja Cat for referencing the dance that helped make the song popular and crediting its creator.

Doja Cat is not the first person to perform her viral TikTok dance in a music video. Lil Nas X famously did the TikTok Old Town Road dance in his video, and Kesha and Mariah Carey have also performed their dances in recent music videos. As memers get serious about accreditation in a world of viral crazes, it's cool to see Doja Cat go the extra mile and include Sharpe.
