If anyone can lay claim to having the best week ever on the social media, it would be a 16-year-old YouTube gaming video blogger who goes by the name Jeff "Tutorials." Why? Because the President of the United States retweeted him.

Jeff ("Tutorials" is, tragically, not his real last name) is a moderately popular YouTuber who offers tips and tricks on how to play and mod the legendary action-adventure video game Grand Theft Auto 5. His most popular video, "GTA Online Mods- How To Be A Modder! (GTA V Modding)" has over 405,000 views. He is also, evidently, an ardent supporter of President Donald Trump. On Monday, Jeff tweeted a graphic that was right in the president's comedy sweet spot, changing the "C" in "CNN" to an "F", thus creating "Fake News Network."

On Tuesday afternoon, the president retweeted Jeff's satire, and as of Wednesday morning, the tweet has accrued over 10,000 retweets and 30,000 likes. Jeff celebrated by making a story on Snapchat about it, to which a bunch of his fans said "Whoa, that's so cool."

Mr. "Tutorials" is 16 and a rising senior in high school. Though he claims politics are not a huge part of his life, he is keenly aware of the political climate on Twitter and has at least some familiarity with the right's stance against some news outlets; before interviewing with The Daily Beast, Mr. Tutorials tweeted that they were "fake news." He was no fan of their piece after it was written, either.

Now that he has been retweeted by the president, Jeff ponders if he'll bring politics to his channel. He is a big fan of "independent YouTube journalism" and voiced admiration for YouTuber Mark Dice, who wrote 2005's "The Resistance Manifesto" about New World Order conspiracies.

Twitter users were once again left mouth agape at the surreality of the president retweeting a Grand Theft Auto YouTuber, and thus a days worth of jokes were given life:

Clearly, the surreal, uncharted landscape we live in in 2017 has no signs of changing any time soon.

Until then, I'm Adam with Know Your Meme and if you liked what you read, please "like, comment, and subscribe" and maybe one day the president will read our articles.
