Unlike its game show counterpart Jeopardy!, the word-guessing game Wheel of Fortune has never been known for hosting the brightest minds in America. Never was that more evident than during last night's episode, when contestants struggled to solve a puzzle missing only four letters.

In Wheel of Fortune, players guess the letters in an obscured message, filling in the solution until players feel confident they've figured out the whole message enough to take a crack at it. Last night's trio had unveiled one puzzle to the point it read "ANOTHER FEATHER _N YO_R _A_." Guess how long it took them to solve it.

If you guessed "over two minutes," you would be shockingly, depressingly correct. One contestant, Laura, starts off the clip confidently answering "Another feather in your hat," which was incorrect. The following player, Christopher, guesses "G" (there were no Gs), and then the third player Thomas spins a "bankrupt." Things really start to go off the rails when Laura guesses "Another feather in your lap" (also, obviously incorrect). Christopher, not to be outdone, then spins and tries to get a "D" (again, no Ds). Thomas, who must at this point be fuming, spins "Lose a Turn."

Laura, now more cautious, elects to spin and guess a letter. She guesses a "P," and there is one! But just when it seems this Kafka-esque farce is about to mercifully end, Laura guesses "Another feather in your map," which is almost impressively wrong at this point. Christopher then spins a "bankrupt" before Thomas, finally allowed to play, announces the solution: "Another Feather In Your Cap."

The two-minute-long disaster quickly went viral, as Twitter users were stunned at the shameful display.

Christopher ultimately won last night's game, but it's doubtful he will refer to the victory as "another feather in his cap."
