Google And Former TikTok Employee Filmed Allegedly Kicking Dog, Goes Viral As Internet Sleuths Track Him Down
A Google and former TikTok employee is going viral for allegedly kicking a small dog on the streets of New York City as internet sleuths have tracked him down and expressed outrage at the incident.
Earlier this month, Instagram user totemkitten, the owner of a small white chihuahua named Knox, posted a video showing her accusing a man of kicking her dog while she was walking it.
The following day, TikToker thatdaneshguy amplified the story, identifying the man as Eric Morrison, a former employee of TikTok and current employee of Google. In the video, Danesh notes that the man's former employment at TikTok inspired him to amplify the story, as he holds a grudge against the app for taking down one of his videos that received 4.7 million views.

Screenshots of Morrison's formerly public LinkedIn account that also began garnering attention on that platform, as users there also suggested the man in the video is Morrison.
As the video spread, including to sites such as Reddit, some users were hesitant to condemn him from only hearing totemkitten's accusation and not seeing evidence of the alleged attack.
However, earlier that afternoon, sources online, including thatdaneshguy and Instagram account karenlivesmatter.ca, acquired security camera footage taken from a nearby business that purports to show the moment of the attack.
In the footage, which appears towards the end of the clip below, it appears as though the man specifically stops and turns around to kick the dog, which flies back a few feet.

According to totemkitten, Knox "seems okay." She updated her original Instagram report to say that she's filed a police report against Morrison.
UPDATE: Morrisson was charged on February 23rd, 2024, for the attack, as reported by the New York Post. He is accused of violating New York’s Agriculture and Markets law.
