Kim Kardashian had her turn to host Saturday Night Live on October 9th, and going into it, there were many who were unsure of how she would do.

Despite being seen on TV for multiple seasons, as well as having done thousands of media events in her life, there were plenty of people casting doubt on her ability to deliver a good SNL performance. Those doubts and expectations were upturned in the eyes of many online as she began her monologue — as seen in the reactions on Twitter following the show.

While the majority of the reactions were about her monologue, in which she made jokes about herself, her mother, her father, sisters and ex-husband Kanye West, there was a lot of talk about her other skits, notably about Pete Davidson's on-screen time alongside her.

One of the biggest disses done during the night came at the expense of both Kanye and Caitlyn Jenner, as Kim Kardashian faked an announcement of running for office before stating that the family didn't need three failed politicians, which also eased tensions among those who thought she might be gearing up for a run herself.
