xQc and his ex-partner Adept filed for divorce in November 2021 after dissolving their "informal marriage," but rumors about what caused the split intensified after Adept filed for a Protective Order earlier this year in June.

Such a filing typically occurs when there is a risk of harm toward an individual, causing many online to speculate if xQc had a violent history with Adept, which was further fueled by Adept's claims of xQc's purported "sexual night terrors."

News about Adept filing such a Protective Order against xQc to ensure that he doesn't come within 350 feet of her and doesn't discuss their relationship in public was shared by Twitch investigator Henry Resilient in June, and he recently came forward with updated news regarding the Protective Order.

As per a public information request filed by Henry earlier in August, the streamer uncovered that the courts had deemed the matter closed without a "conviction or deferred adjudication."

According to Henry Resilient's stream, various sections of the legally obtained document were redacted, but closer inspection revealed that Exhibit C, which pertains to sexual assault allegations levied against xQc, showed that no convictions were found after a criminal investigation into the matter.

However, the redacted sections of the court document make it difficult to provide a definitive account of the court proceedings between Adept and xQc, and such informal investigations conducted by the likes of Henry Resilient must be consumed critically.

xQc has confirmed that he has a history of infidelity in his past relationships, but the streamer has been staunch in his denial of having gotten physical in disagreements with his ex-partner.
