Last night, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams went on Twitter and quote-retweeted a viral MordeTwi meme, announcing that she doesn't get the joke. The internet responded by sending her just about every MordeTwi meme on the web.

MordeTwi is a ship pairing between Regular Show's Mordecai and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic's Twilight Sparkle. The couple was first imagined in a piece of 2011 fan art posted to Deviant Art by user Bluedog444 depicting the couple singing along to B.O.B. and Hayley Williams' hit 2010 single "Airplanes" with tears streaming down their faces, wishing they could be together. The meme saw a resurgence in popularity last month, inspiring an avalanche of new memes imagining the pair.

Williams' tweet acknowledging the meme quickly went viral, gaining over 100,000 likes and 17,000 retweets in under 24 hours. It also received a lot of quote retweets and comments from the people of Twitter, who took the opportunity to educate (or further confuse) Williams by sending her some of the best examples of the format.

A minute after Williams' first tweet, she put out another saying again "i don't get it," making sure everyone is aware of how confused the trend makes her. This all comes after she announced a break from the internet in June for "self-care" reasons. Welcome back, Hayley.
