CD Projekt Red fans have been very worried that the developer might announce yet another delay for Cyberpunk 2077 on August 20th. In the previous months, the game was postponed twice exactly 91 days prior to the announced release date – and August 20th comes exactly 91 days before November 19th, when the game is currently scheduled to hit the shelves.

And this is why this viral post, disguised as an official CD Project Red announcement, was extremely spooky for many.

No wonder that one person commented "I have never been so relieved to be Rick Rolled in my entire life."

To ward away any malicious delays, least one person recorded himself praying to a makeshift CD Projekt Red altar, just in case.

So far CD Project Red did not make any new announcements regarding the game. But they did make a post to just help gamers relax a bit.
