Skibidi Toilet creator and Georgian YouTuber DaFuq!?Boom! is catching flack for purportedly copyright striking several videos created by fellow YouTube channel GameToons, despite seemingly coming to an agreement with them about fair use.

Yesterday, YouTube channel GameToons posted a message explaining why they had decided to delete all the Skibidi Toilet videos from their channel. The team of animators had entered discussions with DaFuq!?Boom! (DFB) after he issued a copyright strike on one of their videos, with the intent of reaching an understanding through which they could continue to make Skibidi content.

For those not in the know, DFB's Skibidi Toilet videos are made using models lifted from a video game called Gary's Mod and mashed with humanoid monsters using software called Source Filmmaker.

Given that GameToons also makes similar parody animations, the two creators purportedly entered into a dialogue to resolve the copyright issue amicably, with GameToons offering to delete all their content and DFB promising to not issue any more strikes until the matter is resolved.

However, GameToons claimed that DFB went on to issue two more copyright strikes after their meeting, putting their channel at risk of deletion. The team at GameToons then made the decision to remove all their Skibidi Content to avoid any more strikes, leaving fans of their work fuming at DFB for appearing to mismanage what seemed to be polite negotiations in the eyes of many.

Skibidi Toilet has been pretty divisive online despite its popularity with children, with some parents blaming the animations for giving their kids "Skibidi Toilet Syndrome" and other internet users criticizing the videos for being brainless slop.

News about DFB's attempt to get a beloved YouTube animation channel canceled led to increased backlash against the creator and his videos from some. X user @RecDTRH noted how DFB did not own the models used in his animations, or even the music playing in the background of his Skibidi Toilet videos.

X user @peanutreject posted about how they once removed DFB from a Discord dedicated to YouTube music reviewer Anthony Fantano after DFB purportedly said a racial slur.

Another X user pointed to a time when DFB posted an animated scene showing a cop kneeling on someone's neck, which some consider to be in bad taste given the death of George Floyd in 2020.

Users also posted memes joking about how they always knew the creator of Skibidi Toilet was a "bad guy," using an ironic clip of Adam Sandler to display the dry sentiment.
