Zack Snyder's Justice League has another chapter to add to its fraught development history when earlier this week, HBO Max accidentally leaked it to Tom and Jerry viewers.

Twitter user Doug Bass (@ThenDougSaid) was the first person to catch the glitch, at least online, and reported, "The CGI finally rivals that of Marvel and you’re gonna love it. That’s all im saying. No spoilers. Get excited."

Naturally, this led to a wave of eager Snyder fans rushing to exploit the glitch before it was discovered by HBO Max, but with little success. User @grbal_ said he saw about 2 hours of the film, which is less than half of its reported 4+ hour runtime, before being served Tom and Jerry, which must have been quite the tonal whiplash.

Speaking to Variety, an HBO Max spokesperson confirmed the glitch happened but was "addressed within minutes."

For what its worth, Bass said that he is no DC fan and wasn't giving much thought to the Snyder cut's March 18th release. However, after seeing the film, he is significantly more hyped.
