As an ambitious Gen-Z actor, it's not surprising that Timothée Chalamet used to be a YouTuber before breaking through. What is surprising is the type of content he made: Xbox controller modification videos.
In 2010, the Dune star posted three videos on YouTube with the channel name "ModdedController360," as discovered by Vice earlier today. The videos show a 14-year-old Chalamet (without his face) going over the Xbox 360 controllers he'd modded.
It's certainly an amusing bit of Chama-lore, if for no other reason than to hear arguably the biggest star in the world right now talk about his "sexy" Xbox controllers in his pubescent voice.
For Twitter users who didn't have much of an opinion on the actor, the news made him seem cool, in a dudes rock sort of way.

In addition to starring in Dune, Chalamet also stars in Wes Anderson's new movie, The French Dispatch, both of which are notable achievements for the young actor, but not nearly as cool as his sick blue-and-white 360 controller.
