Why is "#TugTits" trending on Twitter It's because of a YouTuber named "That Umbrella Guy" (ThatUmbellaGuy) who has been making upwards of $64,000 a month making videos about Amber Heard and the Johnny Depp defamation trial.

Heard's partner, Eve Barlow, tried to doxx him yesterday online, claiming that he owned two websites in their namesakes. He's denied the claims and used it to fuel his existing history of anti-Amber Heard content.

Yesterday, Barlow posted a tweet that identified a "Matthew Lewis," also known as "That Umbrella Guy" on YouTube. She labeled him a "YouTube grifter, disinformation spreader and misogynist bully" and claimed he owned the URLs AmberHeard.net and EveBarlow.net, which both hyperlink to his channel.

ThatUmbrellaGuy has been making content about Amber Heard and Johnny Depp for over two years now with the vast majority of his current thumbnails being related to the trial and its aftermath. Over the years, he's primarily focused on clickbait esque content related to "dunking" on SJWs and bashing movie franchises with female leads like Birds of Prey and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Following Barlow's tweet that attacked him, ThatUmbrellaGuy posted a rebuttal, denying the claims that he owned the two URLs. He additionally claimed that Barlow "knows that too, and got booted from a trial for this same type of disinformation."

Regardless, proponents of Barlow showed their support for her and Heard by ridiculing ThatUmbrellaGuy for his style of content and supposed "obsession" with Heard's life. The buzz surrounding the conflict even caught the attention of the media publication Newsweek, which published an article about TheUmbrellaGuy regarding his monetary success that utilizes his "disparaging view of Heard."

ThatUmbrellaGuy and his fanbase fostered their own attack on Barlow's. They started to satirically post photoshopped photos of ThatUmbrellaGuy's avatar with breasts in hopes of out-trending Newsweek and Barlow. The hashtag "#TugTits" started trending amid the response, and ThatUmbrellaGuy even posted his own video about the conflict titled, 'Heard IS ATTACKING My Channel! – HELP' yesterday.

The battle between ThatUmbrellaGuy and Heard has continued into these last weeks of June and will most likely snowball into July. Some are even speculating that Heard could go after ThatUmbrellaGuy in a legal, defamation sense, however, this is unlikely.
