Streamer Felix Lengyel a.k.a xQc and his fans found his YouTube channel suddenly inaccessible today, with xQc vocalizing his hope that the issue is only temporary.

The streamer, who hosts on the controversial streaming platform Kick has been under fire for months for allegedly "stealing content" under the guise of "reacting" to it, with many online creators raising objections to him airing their content on his platform, causing them to miss out on crucial views and online monetization opportunities.

As of November 25th, 2023, xQc's YouTube channel redirects to a page that reads, "This page isn’t available. Sorry about that. Try searching for something else."

The streamer reportedly found out about his channel being terminated while livestreaming. After refreshing the page and expressing confusion at the news, xQc speculated that the account might be removed due to pending copyright claims that were not processed fast enough, leading to an "auto-termination."

The move comes months after xQc engaged in heated arguments on X with critics that accused him of mutely watching videos other people took pains to make, and inadvertently taking away their potential viewers and potential ad revenue.

However, xQc clapped back by saying that any grievant party can "claim the whole [expletive] thing and they do a lot of times," seemingly giving people permission to copyright strike him if he uses their content.

xQc seemingly remained optimistic about his YouTube termination being reversed during his stream on November 25th.

"I think it’s because, like basically I think some, what the strikes were going to kick in," he said, "then I had like a counterclaim, and then it just, it didn’t kick in in time or something like that, and it’s auto-termination, but it gets, it comes back up."
