A TikTok account that goes by @smellyjar1 has allegedly possessed this jar for almost a decade. However, Reddit posts predate their videos.
The video has inspired a decent amount of discourse these past few years over whether or not he should have put his phone down. Now, it's being recreated in "Roblox."
Part of the independent film made by the character Kirk, this now viral audio has found success with multiple different uses on TikTok since it's introduction to the platform in late 2024.
Twitch confirmed that they IP blocked Palestinian and Israeli users from making new accounts using their email addresses on the site following the October 7th, 2023 attacks to try and stop people from streaming content related to the conflict. Apparently, they just forgot to re-enable it.
