There's just no chemistry between them and the way their eventual meeting reads comes off kinda offensive - Montijo the class clown is an alright character though.

Just because they have Amiibos doesn’t mean they get a free ticket. By that logic Toad, Chibi-Robo and the rest of Animal crossing cast also have a chance because they too have amiibos. But like everybody else they have to get voted in.
