For those only slightly out of the loop, the media, of course, immediately started scouring /r9k/ to look for evidence and whatnot. /r9k/ decided to respond to the influx by pretending that the culprit behind the shooting was a tripfag nobody liked who people called Eggman because of his egghead. Of course he had to. He just had to use this tragedy to further his own personal political agenda. I'd normally be angry with this, furious even, but honestly I'm not even the slightest bit surprised. It's almost a universal constant. Grass grows, birds fly, and McIntosh says stupid shit.
