For those only slightly out of the loop, the media, of course, immediately started scouring /r9k/ to look for evidence and whatnot. /r9k/ decided to respond to the influx by pretending that the culprit behind the shooting was a tripfag nobody liked who people called Eggman because of his egghead. Since this is the media we're talking about, some sources put out articles the second they got that "fact", only realizing after the fact that the only thing the Eggman did wrong was be a tripfag on an anonymous image board.
