Do it. HOWEVER I recommend you please try and get "Alice Madness Returns Complete Collection" (you can get it off GameStop's online store or Amazon, I got it from GameStop's store back in 2013). You will have to activate the game on Origin, but it is worth it because what you get with the Complete Collection is both Madness Returns and the 2000 original game, and the original has been updated to work properly on modern computers and play in widescreen resolutions.

So again, if you're gonna get Madness Returns, please buy the Complete Collection from Amazon or GameStop's online stores, it's well worth the $30, and well worth putting up with Origin.
