Scott Cawthon himself appears as the true final boss of Hard Mode, revealing himself to be the puppetmaster behind the events of the entire series (or at least this game).

His in-game model, if you didn't get it, is a 3D version of the man from /There Is No Pause Button!/, one of Scott's earlier works.
