YOu got to admit, they have a point with the "I'm not brown Spider Man. I'm just Spider Man" part.

I do like that standpoint. I’m totally willing to read about established superhero mantles being used by new characters of different genders or ethnicities, as long as they’re doing it to show actual characters and not make their minority status their sole raison d’être. That’s what I think is the difference between wanting to genuinely give the story a new interpretation and just looking to score progressive brownie points, like the girl in the video.
