Oliver showed Trump saying that he is honest, and also self-funded, and then immediately went on a tangent about how "Oh, you're rich, therefore you're trustnorthy?, which is something that Trump never implied, so that entire rant was tearing down a strawman, 4. Oliver showed Trump's various business ventures and tried to use them (even the successful ones, for some reason) to tear down his business achievements 5. Oliver paraded his ignorance in that he has no idea what business debt is, and has no idea what the point of that man has 6 million more dollars than ldo was, which is that a business without debt is dead. That point had nothing to do with Trump's personal holdings and was taken entrely out of context 6. Oliver showed Trump saying he doesnt know who David Duke is, then brought a quote from Iiterally 16 years ago of Trump denouncing Duke as a racist, and ried using hat against him, despite the fact that the quote was a decade and a haif ago and Trump probably hasnt ever thought about him or heard his name since. Ifyou don't think about somebody that you only heard aboutonce 16 years prior, wouldnt you possibly forget who they were? 7. Confusingly, Oliver declares Trump not knowing who Duke is and being confused about the white supremicy statement as absolute proof that he is racist despite that making no sense 8. The stupidest s--- he did was bring up that one of Trump's ancestors in the fifteenth century changed the family name from Drumpf to Trump. Trump is basically a child who throws tantrums and makes stupid threats, speaking nonsense without thinking first and he does it on a constant basis. The worst thing about the show was that Oliver wasn't f------ funny. Literally 2 parts were funny 1. Trump's hissy-fit about being called short-fingered, and the Gold Sharpie comment (which probably wasnt true, as I couldnt fnd a source for it, but at least it was a joke) 2.
