When the game doesn't want you to win.

I get that they wanted to make these kinds of areas genuinely challenging, but the game shouldn't be allowed to cheese its own RNG system to do so.

Like a certain Focus Band-wielding Scizor tanking four hits at 1 hp and downing my last full-hp pokemon, one match away from the Battle Factory's boss.

It's so great building a team with the best Pokemon with the best IVs, EVs, moves, only to have them all fail because the battle tower Walrein hit Sheer Cold 3 times in a row.
