Honestly this is so much better for the pacing
We have two characters that aren't introduced to be killed in literally the next arc. At least they let them enjoy a little.

I have no idea what my thoughts are. We miss Kira for an episode but then this does make more sense to go to Cinderella and then do all the Kira stuff. Felt odd in the manga.
