I'm really disappointed that they didn't give Lapis much to do in Summer of Steven (aside from getting some closure with Jasper in Alone at Sea). I feel they are kind of robbing her of development and interactions with other characters (most of all Pearl), which she quite honestly needs.

How did she get from being pissed at Peridot to creating art together with her? How does she feel about the Crystal Gems now? Does she still hate Pearl for keeping her trapped? Shouldn't they have talked it all out? Nah, the Crewniverse was to busy making episodes with Kevin and Lars and the Pizzas to worry about that.
