I always remind them that the game was:
-Just a spin-off and the show is the main focus of the Boom universe
-The show is hilarious, if a bit hit and miss
-The game wasn't made by Sonic Team
-Even Sega hates it and tried to remove it from store shelves
-It doesn't impact the main series at all
