If You’re Ever Sad, Just Remember the World Is 4.543 Billion Years Old and You Somehow Managed To Exist at the Same Time As X refers to a snowclone and exploitable template that jokes about luckily existing during the same time as a major invention, event or person. The phrasal template was originally used in a tweet by a Justin Bieber fan and then soon after for a David Bowie tweet.

On October 13th, 2015, X[1] user @jbaintallbad tweeted, "If you're ever sad just remember that the earth is 4.54 billion years old and somehow you've managed to exist the same time as Justin Bieber," receiving over 110 likes in nine years (shown below).
On November 5th, 2015, the tweet was included in a Billboard YouTube[2] video called, "Justin Bieber reads fan Sweet Tweets," gaining over 1.1 million views in nine years (shown below). The tweet is the first one that Bieber reads in the segment.
Spread
On January 9th, 2016, X[3] user @JeSuisDean tweeted, "If you're ever sad, just remember the world is 4.543 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie," receiving over 51,500 likes in a month (shown below).
On October 24th, 2017, Redditor[4] thepumpkins15 shared an image to /r/wholesomememes that read, "If you're ever sad, just remember the world is 4.543 billion years old and you somehow managed to exist at the same time as Guy Fieri," receiving over 44,000 upvotes in seven years (shown below, left).
The meme was recaptioned by other creators in the following years. For instance, on May 9th, 2019, iFunny[5] user @Palm_olive_2016 posted an iteration about the dab pen, gaining over 45 smiles in five years (shown below, right). An earlier posting of the image has not yet been discovered.
Viral iterations continued in the 2020s, resurfacing en masse in early 2024. For instance, on May 28th, 2024, X[6] user @dewydudes posted an iteration about Turkish surgeons, receiving over 11,000 likes in two days (shown below).
