JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stone Ocean is Alchemy

Stone Ocean is Alchemy (self.StardustCrusaders) submitted 4 hours ago by ProJFURY So I recently watched the giant 45 minute long video on how Pokemon Sun and Moon are the end of the Pokemon games It's a pretty cool video and it's only part 1 of soon to be 3(so far there are parts 1, 2, and 2.5) The link is here. In the video, Lockstin, the youtuber, talks a lot about Alchemy, and this got me thinking. A lot of what he said connects very nicely to Stone Ocean's plot and characters. Here is what I've managed to find so far, and feel free to comment your thoughts as ragraph except this one and most of the conclusion. Thanks in advance! Part 6 To start things off, the video mentions the idea of Azoth. Azoth being God, the philosopher stone, Heaven, etc. It is stated that he who attains Azoth can reset the world, sounding familiar already? The video explains that there are two main ways of attaining Azoth. A natural way that focuses on evolving one's spiritual connection/spirit, and an artificial way of creating a philosopher stone, or the like, through Alchemy. Pucci exhibits both ways throughout Stone Ocean. Let's take a step back to explain how Stands fit in before proceeding. Stands are one's spirit and a physical representation of it, so when we talk about spirits in Alchemy we refer to Stands to connect it to Jojo. Pucci succeeds in evolving his own spirit, his Stand, throughout Part 6. He also artificially creates something akin to the philosopher stone that allows him to evolve his Stand, The Green Baby. He does this by using a bone of the late DIO, whose name means God in Italian, and the souls of philosopher stone of sorts. Thus, connecting how one attains Azoth to how Pucci went about attaining what he calls Heaven Azoth is also associated with the Tree of Life, and what did the Green Baby get birthed from? A bundle of roots and greens What was sprouting from the 30 some sinners that Pucci used to birth Green Baby? Plants that look like they would eventually become trees Part 6 Stand discs are also another prominent connection to Alchemy. Lockstin details in the video that one can trap the souls of humans and animals into an object, and thus transferring it some place else. Lockstin relates this to pokeballs, but in the context of Jojo this idea takes place in the form of Stand discs that Pucci uses. Pucci takes the soul/spirit of someone, which is ultimately there Stand, and can transfer the Stand to other individuals on the other hand, has a much stronger connection to Alchemy. The Moon represents immortality, rebirth, fertility resurrection, and occult power. Rebirth being the Stand evolving, fertility referring to the birth of Green Baby that allows and his religious background. In addition, C-Moon's power is that of gravity, more specifically gravity inversion and defiance. As well as, Pucci's way of attaining Heaven in Part 6 is through the use of gravity and position in space. I did a ttle googl e search, and found out that Issac Newton's inspiration for his theory of gravity came from his teresting thing though is the philosopher stone to attain Heaven/Azoth Part 6 The final connection I've been able to make so far involves this quote It is finished when 7 become one.' This quote was commonly used by Alchemists to describe the reset or "end" of the orld. How many major characters die/get rgument is that Sun and Moon is the end of the original Pokemon franchise, and that t happened after Stone Ocean finished? A, what one would call, reboot of Jojo in the form of Steel Ball Run its setting taking place in a new universe Now I'm sure there are more connections. One that comes to mind is the title of the part Stone Ocean. The word "Stone" has some connections to Alchemy, surely. As well as, "Ocean" and water having connections as well. It's interesting to note that the moon(C-Moon) controls the ocean's tides. I do want to say that the Stand names come from already established band and song names, so it might be a coincidence, but I think there is still strong evidence supporting the claims. Also, keep in mind that Araki still picks the Stand names, so he might look for ame that fits his ide raki changed it because he apparently said it fits better." That concludes my theory so far!
