Because the news media loves using "Obamacare" and not "The ACA". So when people hear about how bad Obamacare is they assume that is what it is really called. Yet when they go to their Insurance company all they hear is "ACA". So it creates a disconnect in people's minds.
If News Media referred to the ACA as the ACA there probably wouldn't be a massive fight to repeal it. Which inclines me to believe that is why news sites with a republican bias so love to refer to it as "Obamacare" and not the ACA because "Obama is bad!" so anything with his name attached must be bad right?
