Super Mario Odyssey - I mean I knew this was gonna happen...but still...why?

Between this and all the stuff that happened in Pokemon Sun/Moon, clearly someone at Nintendo really enjoyed Kill La Kill.

With that one bunny-girl that popped up and got some attention, not to mention Bowser looking pimp as fuck, I figured Odyssey R34 wouldn't be that far behind.

But why Mario's hat specifically? I… don't understand…

I guess they just like sentient hat-things…
