Croatoan Member (Today, 02:40 PM) Quote EA is trying to pull one over on fans by naming a C tier studio "Bioware Montreal" #1 The Bioware Studios are: A Tier Bioware Edmenton: ME 1,2 and 3, Dragon age series, and all classic Bioware games. Working on new IP now B Tier Bioware Austin: SWTOR and helped with DA:I.1 don't think they have a project other than swtor support now C Tier HEAVy DIESEL Bioware Montreal (Formerly EA Montreal): Known for such hits as Boogie Superstar, Spore Hero and The Sims 3: High-End Loft Stuff. Their one solid effort is ME3 multiplayer Why is this a big deal? Well, EA Montreal was given the Bioware title so EA could cash in on a new Mass Effect and casual fans would not be the wiser. Particularly since the only thing people look for when it comes to developers is the name on the box (which would be Bioware). In other words, your average consumer won't know that the product isn't even made by the same people that it was prior (Edmenton). Also, I can't find the interview so this could be "tales from my ass" level stuff, but if I remember correctly Bioware Montreal is made up of mostly new hires that were kids that grew playing the original ME games and wanted to work on the new one. There is nothing wrong with this, but apparently there isnt enough senior oversight to keep them on track. Which is why after 5 years ME:A is an amateur level production that seems completely unpolished because EA finally said "Ship the damn thing, or else up IS Last edited by Croatoan; Today at 02:43 PM

Since the release of Mass Effect: Andromeda, we've worked hard to address feedback from our community. From improving animations to expanding customization options, we looked to respond to your concerns, and build on what you loved. With each patch, you let us know we were heading in the right direction, and we're grateful to everyone who joined us on this journey. We're proud of what we created, and we hope you enjoyed it as well. Early in development, we decided to focus Mass Effect: Andromeda's story on the Pathfinder, the exploration of the Andromeda galaxy, and the conflict with the Archon. The game was designed to further expand on the Pathfinder's journey through this new galaxy with story-based APEX multiplayer missions and we will continue to tell stories in the Andromeda Galaxy through our upcoming comics and novels, including the fate of the quarian ark. Our last update, 1.10, was the final update for Mass Effect: Andromeda. There are no planned future patches for single-player or in-game story content. I doubt there was no voersight, just that even in Bioware Edmonton, a lot of the old staff left. A lot of complaints regarding Mass Effect Andromeda started with Dragon Age Inquisition. Though not as badly in that game.
