Pretty much the entirety of what is said here can be shot down simply by realizing most of the “evidence” here is normal anthropomorphic behavior seen on characters of not-so-serious shows and movies, like Spongebob. Characters there also eat what seems to be human food and can fall down at regular gravity speed despite being underwater… but they ARE the sea creatures they represent, no doubt. The show is just wacky, and Cars had a lot of that.
He lastly shoots himself on the foot by concluding the whole movie never happened human universe's timeline, but on Bugs' timeline… which makes his first connecting evidences with Up quite irrelevant, as well as put BnL's link and relevance into question if so, and these 2 facts started the theory to begin with, so them becoming irrelevant is a huge downside.
Old MatPat would have made a video on the cars’ engineering in correlation to their bodies or something… but nope: we got this, instead. This is why I did not want to watch the video. I just knew this would happen…
I checked the video just to answer to this comment.
…basically, he did his own take on "The Pixar Theory", a rather popular theory that goes something like this:
First, he used the movie WALL-E to make a first connecting link with Cars, by noting the existence of BnL throghout many Pixar movies, including Up, where they are a construction business, buying all cars, and then the brand appeared on Cars 3's trailer.
All good up to this point.
…and, well, I seriously cannot summarize the rest, so really, see for yourself: I isolated the main part of the video here, which is about half of it.
…and this is where it starts going wrong. Very wrong…
