The activist trolley problem: The trolley is headed towards an infinite amount of people. You can pull the lever and set its course towards a track with no people on it but in order to do so you'll have to get out of your couch and walk like 5 meters or so, to the lever. pythosoft 565 Points 18h Given an infinite amount of people the trolley will stop on its own at some point because it will either run out of energy or the wheels will get too damaged from running people over. The amount of dead people will be finite. A finite number of dead people subtracted from an infinite amount of people still leaves you with an infinite amount of people so you might as well do nothing.
