"goldie has been a handful since, well…her inception. she’s passionate, clumsy, and a little annoying. the other pearls all regard her a a sort of problem-one that could drive ANYONE up the wall, so no WONDER her charge doesn’t want her! of the misfit group, she’s the worst-but her intentions are good and she’s a genuine person, so while the other pearls look down on her a bit, they rly do want her to do well, and care about her a lot!"

"lilac is her closest friend and most vicious critic-she’s also aware that if goldie stays with the last chance pearls, she’s DOOMED to be shattered. goldie is always late-never knows the time-always has an excuse, and can’t be relied upon to do pretty much anything successfully. shes laughs too loud and always trips on the hem of her dress"

"but the WORST trait she has is that she wants adventure-DESPERATELY. her superiors hate it about her, and its the hing that could get her in the most trouble. She’s too scared to leave homeworld on her own, but she stares out into space like she’s looking in the windows of a childhood home"

"plus, all of the songs she sings-although her voice is lovely!-are about silly, frivolous things. she’s always sneaking around and trying to find out what her superiors are meeting about or going places she isn’t supposed to bc shes just so damn CURIOUS
