Gotta say, as much as I love Rick & Morty, I never really cared for its nihilism. I know that the nihilistic philosophy of the show is the whole reason why a lot of people watch it, but I just personally disagree with it.
But this…If this really is true to Xavier: Renegade Angel's philosophy, then wow. Usually, adult cartoons, in terms of philosophy/viewpoints, are strictly cynical, ranging from just a little pessimistic about society and human nature, at best (The Simpsons), to outright nihilistic extremes about the Universe at large, at worst (Rick & Morty). So, to see an adult cartoon that's even slightly optimistic/idealistic in nature, that doesn't get overlooked by the Internet, is surprising to say the least.
