So folks I boot up my Nintendo Switch and start playing my copy of Splatoon 2 and I notice the splatverse posts or whatever you call them are filled with messages about identity politics. I wish I knew a way to upload screenshots of them but some of the messages included “I love my trans squids” and “shutout to my non binary squids”. While I have no real problem with non binary or trans folks Splatoon 2 is a kids game, I do believe most sexual and gender stuff shouldn’t be shown to kids. Since their kids and they should be more focused on transformers instead of their genitalia or what pronouns they should be called.

So my questions to Know Your Meme is should I report these posts? Are these posts OK, or are these posts too adult for a kids game?

I don’t know I just want to know all ya’lls opinions.
