Until now, about 3,000s of the 44,000$ asking price is collected. A member even came up with the idea of casually parking it in front of the white house "Chairman Ushanka Kid", self proclaimed supreme leader of the group, said he would love to be the one driving the tank through american cities to "praise Stalin who did absolutely nothing wrong". German member and engineer Niklas Klasen, a former Bundeswehr soldier, said he would voluntarily repair and maintain the tank and teach other members how to operate it.

Apparently it actually is legal, but you need the local sheriff to sign off on it and a background check prior to purchase. Considering Antifa's track record with law enforcement, I can't see that going too well for them.
