Supper Mario Broth @MarioBrothBlog Ø On the Mushroom Bridge track in Mario Kart: Double Dash, there is an invisible city on a distant island. The city has been modeled inside-out so that it can only be seen from outside the track instead of within it. In Mushroom Bridge, a city can be seen in the distance. However, there is a second, invisible city on another island. There is a city here Unless defined otherwise, most surfaces in 3D video games are only visible from the front (the "front" being the direction the surface normal, a vector showing the facing direction of the polygon, is pointing to). The surface normals of the city have been, likely mistakenly, defined to point in the opposite direction to the main track, so that the city appears invisible from the front and only visible from the back.
