On one hand, he ruined a child's education simply for the sake of some internet points and looking like "le true patriot," in spite of the fact that the illegal immigrant child (who we're still not even sure is actually illegal or not) is most likely more likely to benefit the world getting an education in America rather than his home country.
On the other hand, he technically did nothing illegal, and some may see what he did as a good deed-- but he did it in the most smug, assholish, infuriating way possible that even people who support what he did still say he's a piece of shit.
You're on one of those boats, you're on both, or you're on neither. That's probably two good reasons.
