Clearly whoever thinks Blade wasn't Marvel's first superhero movie staring a black person can't see very well. They should have their eyes opened with CG.

4. Since people mention War Machine and Falcon, yes they're black superheroes, but sadly they're not mainline heroes that can have their own movies (MAYBE Falcon if he becomes Captain America, but Bucky will probably happen first) and BE the protagonist instead of a side character.

5. And last but not least, it's also the first black main protagonist in an MCU movie and in superheroes in general that is ACTUALLY FUCKING GOOD. Seriously, even common haters of superhero movies are saying this movie is amazing bringing not only likable characters but actually one of the best villains performances in the entire MCU

And after all this, why does it piss so many people off African Americans are getting excited or feel related to Black Panther? It's like getting pissed women getting related to Wonder Woman. OF COURSE, they're going to feel related. Yes, they're some people around like always that try to ruin the fun both from inside and outside fandoms, but it's getting stupid how much-unwanted criticism this movie is getting
