A quick bit of context for some people: Kimishima recently announced he's stepping down as president of Nintendo because he always knew for him it was a temporary position while they were still looking for someone to fill Iwata's shoes. The new president is Shuntaro Furukawa, who has been involved with Nintendo since 1994 and he's actually close to how old Iwata was when he took over as Nintendo president in 2002 (46). Kimishima said he feels it's better to have someone younger running the company because he'll be more in tune with the people who have been playing games for the past couple of decades, and a lot of the "old guard" at Nintendo want to see newer talent rise up in the company.
