Pokémon - Gen 2 Beta & Cut Pokémons VS What we eventually got (v2)

Gotta point out that the twin spirits by Wobbuffet are a pre-evolution to Girafarig. Both were Dark/Normal typed to create a good/evil duality. The palindrome name made more sense with the old design.

The beta Lickilicky has some serious Swalot vibes to it. It's mainly the whiskers but the skin patterning looks a lot like it. Also the Farfetch'd evo might have ended becoming Swanna in Gen 5. I can see why most were changed but I love beta Noctowl's angry borb look. Though I really wish we had gotten beta Girafarig, the second Bellsprout evo, and baby vulpix.

But this makes me wonder what other pokemon that appeared in later gens had been considered for earlier ones but were rejected.
