I felt that this perfectly summed up my feelings toward this whole "Waluigi for Smash" debacle. I'd definitely like it if Waluigi was a playable character, but I understand if Sakurai doesn't want to include him as such. I just hope that whatever he does, he doesn't let _those_ people influence his decision too much.

"Waluigi is the underdog in the Mario franchise in the same way we all are the underdog in our own lives.
And can we really blame anyone for this? Nintendo has pretty much all but confirmed them going out of their way to make Waluigi anything more than what he has been since his inception. Despite him supposedly being a "villain", he is relatable to us all like a hero."
