Notes:

I guess I should clarify some of the more confusing aspects of the list:
-I lumped together sword fighters and blunt melee weapon users into the same category for the sake of consistency.

-This also applies to how I grouped ranged fighters with fighters that use other types of technology that aren't necessarily melee weapons.

-Bowser Jr. is included in this combined ranged/other weapon fighter because he relies primarily on the Koopa Clown Car to fight.

-Diddy Kong is in the ranged-unarmed hybrid group given how he uses primitive technology in his moveset. How come he's in their and K. Rool isn't despite him utilizing a hoverpack and blunderbuss? That's a good question.

-While Pit and Dark Pit's weapons, the Palutena's Bow and Silver Bow respectively, are considered bows, they're treated more as swords in the context of Smash Bros.

-Duck Hunt Dog falls under the ranged + unarmed hybrid group due to the zapper used in his smash attacks

-Ganondorf is in the unarmed + supernatural category because while he finally uses a sword in some of his attacks, he's still primarily a fist fighter with some dark magic incorporated into his attacks.

-Bayonetta and Kirby are in their own separate tier because they don't adhere to any of the 4 major groups. Bayonetta uses her bare fists, her pistol set, and her Wicked Weaves and Witch Time. Kirby is in here as well because his copy ability gives him so many potential options.

-The "Other" category is for fighters whose fighting style doesn't fit with any of the 4 main classes due to their unorthodox methods.

-Red doesn't count as a fighter given how he's a spectator, not a direct combatant.
