Honestly, I'm not too bummed about the Grinch having been wrong. Incineroar looks surprisingly fun to play(moreso then in his original games…Primarina4Lyf), and, as Sakurai said, the door's open for extra characters, meaning we might still see the arrival of (almost) everyone the Grinch mentioned, or even some of the more notable Spirits.

And as for Isaac, at least he's back at all. There DOES exist a precedent for Assist Trophies becoming legit characters, meaning his odds aren't shot(unless another Golden Sun protag makes it in instead).

Sakurai told you at E3 to lower your expectations. You didn't listen.
