Detective Pikachu - Updating Pikachu's design

he's so cute and fluffy looking. I just wanna pet him so bad. Kudos to whoever rendered pikachu's fur, it looks like a real animal you could pet irl.
also I noticed in the trailer that pikachu appears to have slightly lighter colored fur on his belly. a possible throwback to the original pikachu sprites and artwork in the early pokemon red/blue days? :O
