Given how relentless Mr. X is in the RE2 remake I can only imagine how much more relentless Nemesis would be in a remake of RE3. Pat pointed this out on his stream but there seem to be small hints in the RPD of Nemesis having busted through some spots in pursuit of Jill (the canon is Jill came to the RPD to grab some stuff one day before Leon and Claire showed up, and in RE3 Nemesis does bust into the station, though the RE3 devs made a minor plot hole of having him bust through a wall that's not broken in RE2, but to be fair RE2 in general both the original and remake have this still unexplained plothole of "wait if the military quarantined Raccoon City then how the hell did a guy in a jeep and a girl on her motorcycle ride in no problem?" that I guess never got patched because we are after all taking about a game franchise where the canon ending to RE1 is an ending players can not get in ANY way whatsoever, namely the canon RE1 ending is "Jill, Chris, Barry, Rebecca, and Brad make it out" but in the game proper neither Jill nor Chris' stories allow you to see both Barry and Rebecca).

I have a friend who had previously only played the remaster of REMake and he was upset about Mr. X and I told him that he should settle down and realize that Mr. X is nowhere near as bad as brother Nemesis and he asked "How could he be worse?" and I decided to describe Nemesis thusly: "Imagine Mr. X if he were a sprinty-boi with the power of rockets and tentacle rape."

He did not sound excited.
