I saw this post a long time ago and wanted to share it here, but then Tumblr went hyper-stupid and almost all traces of it vanished. Couldn't even search for it, not even in my own reblogs. Thankfully, Google's cached links still worked and I managed to capture it as I remembered it.

Matsu-sensei (aka, graphiteknight) was inspired by Black Cat's bland at best redesign. Compared to what got put into the final game, I'd say his versions were an improvement.
Someone did some research and discovered that Sam Maggs, the same feminist who claimed to be virtually r---- by someone in "GTA 5" and was a writer for the miserable pile that was "Mass Effect: Andromeda" also worked on "Marvel's Spider-man" at Insomniac. As you can see, the resemblance is obvious. Thankfully, Insomniac had enough integrity to limit her influence, but not enough to not take away half of what makes Black Cat recognizable as Black Cat and somehow make her basic, solid black jumpsuit look even more generic and uninteresting.
