Not to be that guy but Bob Ross died 24 years ago so he wouldn't be in the running here, much as we love him.

Speaking as a comic book fan, its actually kind of up to debate for Stan Lee. While he is responsible for the creation of the Marvel Universe and all of its characters we enjoyed, he also have an infamous history of creative difference with the other creators like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. SO much so that they left MArvel because of such differences. And this doesn’t even begin to mention how a lot of the story ideas and direction of characters actually stem more from said artist which implies that Stan Lee himself didn’t really come up with stories all by himself. Doesn’t really help that the stories we enjoy from Marvel actually came from other writers and artist later on down the road like Roy Thomas, Chris Claremoont, and Jim Sterlin.

Basically what I’m saying is, Stan Lee was a legend but I don’t think he deserves a statue as there are some skeletons he have that says otherwise.
