Although there were some "maybes" thrown out since the news came back in June at E3, Game Freak is now sticking to their guns and eliminating the prospect altogether. Masuda states: "We now have no plans to make the Pokemon that are missing in the Galar Pokedex in- game available. That is an approach that we want to continue with Pokemon games in the future. Of course, up to now it has not been possible to encounter every Pokemon in every game, so people had to transfer it from old games via Pokemon Bank to the new game, for example."

Tuesday at 7:03 PM #1,316 PSYCHONAUTS Psychonaut Member This is my least favorite Pokemon. Its name is Maractus. Maractus is my least favorite Pokemon because, to me, it is utterly forgettable. Maractus was introduced in Generation V (Black/White), which I played upon its release and thoroughly enjoyed. I did not even know Maractus existed until a year ago. I had one, but I had absolutely no recollection of what Maractus was. Do I want to cut Maractus? No, because I'm not an a------.I realize that, somewhere out there, there is a person who is ALL about Maractus and I want them to experience the same happiness that every other Pokemon player experiences when they reunite with an old party member in the new entry. Not everyone's favorite Pokemon is Pikachu or Charizard, and it's kinda bunk to tell those people that their favorite Pokemon is cancelled.

Here's what I'm trying to convey here:
This person is obviously being immature about the Pokedex situation, to the point of shooting down anyone who accepts the change as understandable. I wanted to show this as a way of saying, "hey, maybe it's not a great idea to pressure GF into putting every Pokemon back. You'll only be giving people like this guy undeserved satisfaction."
