SPLICERS!

Her mother phoned her in earlier that day to tell her that there was a break-in at her apartment complex. Retsuko said it was no problem, had her day, and when she came back, noticed her front door was unlocked, open, and her lights were on (even though she was shown locking it). Scared as ever, she calls the police, and then tries to find something she can defend herself with in a nearby construction site. She tries a cone (too light), a pole (too large and heavy), then the wrench, which she uses to go back into her apartment
